MDFS – Underwriting Process –Angie speaks

We know your life is hectic. We know you have many other things to do besides searching and trying to buy disability insurance. Rest assured, with M.D. Financial Services, no matter where you live or practice, you’ll find our underwriting process is simple, streamlined, and efficient.

Our staff is trained to help you select the coverage that fits your unique set of circumstances and financial objectives. Once you’ve chosen a plan, we will be glad to meet with you in person or send an overnight package with the forms you will need to complete.

In either case, filling out the necessary forms won’t take longer than five to ten minutes. With the return of your application we’ll also need a copy of your most recent tax return and a year-to-date paycheck stub or a profit and loss statement if you’re self-employed.

With your paperwork in hand, we’ll review and finalize your application and schedule a para-medical profile procedure. This will involve a simple two-vial blood draw and urinalysis and can be done at your convenience, either at work or home, most any time, day or night. After all the reports and forms are submitted to the insurance carrier of your choice, they will determine whether any follow-up medical records are needed to complete your application.

Once your protection is underwritten, your insurer will issue out the contract for us to review. Again, we’ll be happy to meet with you in person or overnight your final documentation to execute policy placement.

M.D. Financial Services will get you from application to underwriting as quickly as possible. We’ll work hard, not only to find your best coverage options, but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way. And, if you ever have any questions or need any assistance, one of our friendly and knowledgeable representatives is always just a phone call away to help you buy disability insurance.
